Scope
This policy applies to the India For Tomorrow website and its public participation features. It explains what information may be provided by visitors, why it is used, how it should be protected and what additional processing may occur if analytics or advertising services are enabled.
Information you provide
A visitor may provide a problem description, approximate location, date, photograph, document, research note, proposed solution, name, role or contact details. Contributors should not upload private home addresses, identity documents, children’s faces, medical records, financial account data or identifying information about another person without a lawful and necessary reason. Public reports should use the least precise location needed to explain the issue.
How information is used
- Review and organize submitted evidence or proposals.
- Contact a contributor when clarification or consent is needed.
- Detect duplicate, unsafe, abusive or misleading submissions.
- Create aggregated, privacy-protected analysis.
- Maintain corrections, moderation and security records.
- Comply with legal obligations and protect people from harm.
Local drafts and current limitations
Some current forms save a draft in the visitor’s browser or generate a downloadable research package. Unless a form explicitly confirms server delivery and provides a submission reference, the information has not been received by India For Tomorrow. The interface must not imply successful delivery where no server connection exists.
Cookies, analytics and advertising
Essential storage may remember language, accessibility or privacy choices. If Google AdSense is activated, Google and its partners may use cookies, web beacons, IP addresses or other identifiers to serve, measure and protect advertising. Third parties may place and read cookies in a visitor’s browser as a result of ad serving. India For Tomorrow will not activate advertising code until a valid publisher account and required consent controls are configured. Consent and regional rights
Where law requires consent for advertising, analytics, precise location or other non-essential processing, the relevant technology should remain inactive until valid consent is obtained. For visitors in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom and Switzerland, personalized advertising requires a Google-certified consent management platform integrated with the applicable Transparency and Consent Framework. Other regions may provide access, deletion, correction, objection or opt-out rights under local law.
Sharing and retention
Information should be shared only with service providers, reviewers, research partners or authorities when necessary for the stated purpose, safety or law. Public publication requires an additional editorial and privacy decision. Data should be retained only as long as needed for review, evidence integrity, security, legal compliance or a clearly stated public-interest archive.
Security and children
Reasonable technical and organisational safeguards should protect submitted information, but no internet service can guarantee absolute security. India For Tomorrow is not designed to collect personal information directly from children. A parent, guardian, school or responsible institution should support any youth contribution, and sensitive child information should not be made public.
