What cookies are
Cookies and similar browser technologies store or read small pieces of information on a device. They can support essential functions, remember preferences, measure site use, prevent abuse or personalize advertising. The purpose and legal basis matter more than the technical label.
Current essential storage
India For Tomorrow may use browser storage to remember language choice, locally saved form drafts and privacy preferences. Local drafts remain on the device unless a separate, clearly confirmed submission process sends them to a server. Clearing browser data may remove these drafts and preferences.
Analytics and advertising
Advertising and non-essential analytics are not treated as essential. If Google AdSense is enabled, Google and participating advertising partners may use cookies or other identifiers to deliver, limit, secure and measure ads. The Privacy Policy explains this processing in more detail. Ads must remain disabled where required consent has not been obtained.
Your choices
Visitors can accept, reject or revisit non-essential choices where a consent message applies. Browser settings can also block or delete cookies, although this may remove saved language or draft preferences. The “Privacy choices” control in the footer opens the site’s current notice. A Google-certified consent message must be configured before personalized ads are served in the EEA, UK or Switzerland.
No misleading consent
Consent controls must use clear language and must not make rejection harder to understand than acceptance. A visitor’s refusal must not be interpreted as consent. Necessary and optional purposes should be separated, and withdrawal should be available through the same site-wide privacy control.
Updates
The cookie inventory will be updated before any analytics, advertising or embedded third-party service is enabled. The exact provider, purpose, duration and choice mechanism should be documented once the final AdSense and consent configuration is known.
